About the role
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated volunteer to manage product listings and fulfil orders through the Hammersley Homes eBay shop, by helping us turn donated items into valuable income.
Key responsibilities
- Research donated items and estimate their potential value.
- Take clear, attractive digital photographs of items.
- Create and upload eBay listings in line with our standard procedures.
- Write detailed, accurate and engaging product descriptions.
- Select appropriate postage and delivery options.
- Monitor sales and prepare sold items for dispatch.
- Pack items carefully and securely.
- Take parcels to the appropriate courier collection point or post office.
Skills and qualities
- Has experience of buying & selling on eBay
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Has strong online research skills.
- Can write clear and accurate descriptions.
- Can photograph and present items attractively.
- Packs items carefully and securely.
- Is reliable, organised and able to work independently.
