Fundraising News
Outreach Funding: We have received the Charles Burnett Memorial Fund grant of £10,000 which will go towards the running of our Outreach Programme and supporting our members in the New Forest.
Rona Sailing Day: Hampshire County Councillor, Barry Dunning, has kindly funded a day out for some of our staff and members with the Rona Sailing Project. This is a fantastic opportunity to encourage social interaction and build our members’ confidence with a day of sailing!
Vivid Housing Association: Our Vivid Project is about to get underway! We have been granted £1,500 to support Vivid Tenants with Outreach Support. We are working with Vivid to run this project over the next year and are excited to be able to support their tenants who are in social and affordable housing and are in need of support for their mental health.
We are also incredibly grateful to Steve and Sarah Badger for choosing to combine their retirement celebration with a fundraiser for Hammersley Homes at Lord Wandsworth College. Their support means the world to us and makes a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve. Thank you for your generosity and kindness! 💙
The Big Give
We are delighted to have had our application to participate in the BIG GIVE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE 2024 approved. It’s the biggest match funded campaign in the UK, with every donation being doubled. We are now collecting pledges, which we won’t ask to be fulfilled until and unless we achieve our donation target during Big Give week in December. If anyone would consider offering a pledge (minimum pledge £100), we would be enormously grateful. This is our PLEDGE LINK. Watch this space for more news about Big Give Week nearer the time! And thank you for your support.

A Final Farewell From Alex 👋
Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for the opportunity to volunteer with you. It has truly been a rewarding journey, and I’ve cherished every moment of it. One thing that stands out is the personal growth I’ve experienced throughout my time volunteering. From developing new skills to gaining valuable experience, this opportunity has been incredibly enriching for me.
Additionally, the letters Crystal sent around holiday times were a great way to show appreciation for our work. They made me feel like part of a community and supported, even from a distance. It was heart-warming to know that our efforts were recognized and valued. I believe this gesture truly highlights the caring and supportive environment your organization fosters, making it a great place for volunteers to contribute and grow.
