Hammersley Homes is an Award-Winning Charity!

Hammersley Homes is delighted with this Award!   It gives weight to the Charity, and is entirely thanks to all our hard-working staff and volunteers – without whom it would never have been possible to make the progress we have made.

Prestige Awards gave us this terrific accolade earlier this year, and nominated us the “Best Mental Health Clinic” in the South of England.   We aren’t exactly a Mental Health Clinic, but I suppose it was the closest they could get …. Anyway, it’s a tremendous boost for us, and now being able to call Hammersley Homes an “Award Winning Charity” is very exciting indeed.

We have a lot of people to thank for this award – our volunteers have been amazing, and continue to help us with our Outreach Programme, our Social Media campaign, fundraising events, PR campaign and lots more.

We are constantly working to:

• Raise awareness of the issues we champion, how mental illnesses are a societal problem, and finding ways to reduce the ever-present stigma attached to having a serious mental illness, or having a loved one who lives with mental ill-health
• Raise the profile of Hammersley Homes and the work we are doing to provide long term support and fully supported homes for life for the vulnerable people we work with
• Raise funds – an ongoing challenge

Anything you or anyone can do to help us with any parts of our important work would be enormously appreciated.

We want to win more awards;  we want our work and the issues we champion to get noticed in wider parts of the UK.   We are very determined to reach our goal of providing comfortable fully supported homes for life for this vulnerable group – and we would be immensely grateful for any support or help you might be able to offer us.
