A mental health charity has been granted more than £430,000 to support vulnerable adults.
Lymington-based Hammersley Homes has been awarded £439,226 in National Lottery funding, which will help expand its outreach programme through Hampshire and beyond.

The service assists adults living with long-term mental health conditions.

Louise Hallett, founder of Hammersley Homes, said: “Thanks to National Lottery players, this grant means that we can support more of the vulnerable people we work with.

“This will make a big difference to people’s lives – not only to the lives of our clients, but also to their families, giving relief in the knowledge that we are there to support their loved ones alongside them, and we will continue to provide support when families are no longer able to.”

The outreach service provides practical and emotional support to clients in their own homes.

Support covers daily tasks such as budgeting, managing benefits, accessing services, and social connection through group activities and outings.
