A WEEKEND of world-class garden opera and rhythm and blues has raised more than £42,000 for two local charities.

A mental health charity has been granted more than £430,000 to support vulnerable adults. Lymington-based Hammersley Homes has been awarded £439,226 in National Lottery funding, which will help expand its outreach programme through Hampshire and beyond.
