We are proud to be participating in The Big Give Christmas Challenge again this year. From 29 November – 6 December, every donation is MATCHED, so every donation will be DOUBLED, which will make a huge difference for our charity!
As part of our Halloween celebrations, we embarked on a pumpkin-themed adventure with some of our Outreach clients. Whilst the pumpkin pyramid and spooky skeletons might have sent a shiver down their spines, they had a brilliant time exploring the local community and spending time with our lovely volunteers.
On 9th October, volunteer Pedro Feitor ran a half marathon to raise valuable funds for Hammersley Homes. Bryan Woods recently spoke to Pedro about his amazing achievement.
Two years ago, during the COVID-19 lockdowns, people confronted loneliness on a massive scale. We were positively encouraged to keep away from other people.
Pedro is one of our fabulous Outreach Volunteers, who has really made a difference to the lives of some of our vulnerable clients he’s been visiting.
We had a wonderful time exhibiting at the New Forest Show for the first time. It was a great opportunity to showcase the work that we are doing with our Hammersley Homes Project and celebrate the success that we have seen. We met so many great people who shared our vision and we will definitely be back next year!
